SO100 Finals

Dear students:

I hope that you learned something this semester, more than just how to put a condom in place. In the tradition of creative integration exercises in my class, the final examination is a practical one, and a reflective one too.

Taking to mind the reportsd and the graded recitation, look for a song that is relevant to any of the topics discussed. Do not get the first song that you find. look for a song that you can ponder on and relate it to you own experience while at the same time integrate the learnings in the classroom remember, we do not want to be traditional so search deeper. look for rare songs, unique songs, songs that are relevant and that you would include if we are to publish a soci 1013 songbook.

So what do you do if you have finlly found a song?Get the lyrics and chords and paste it on a Word file. Assign filename with your name and section. You can be creative with the page but take it easy on the graphics so as not to overdo the file size. If you have the piece of tablature, please include it. If you have an MP3 file less than 10MB then send it too. Be sure to save the file. Send it via electronic mail (E-mail) to angsosyoklsrum@yahoo.com `before October 7, 2008.

Happy searching. If you are in the mood, you can take a video of yourself singing the song! Send it to me or post it in YouTube. Speak out. Do not be afraid. It is through this that you will know if indeed you learned something this semester.

Happy testing!

Justin V. Nicolas
